This issue is that the bank account in Bank Code Maintenance is being replaced with actual *, like it would appear if it were hidden, or completely spaced out. I believe all of them are on 2019, various service updates, some Adv, some Std.

What version(s) of Sage is this happening to? It appears like it's global - not only isolved ?

In a last-ditch effort I logged in MAS90 mode and the file processed. I reported that to Sage and they have zero idea why that would have worked. Unfortunately past the deadline to process for the correct pay date.

I had a user call yesterday with a rejected positive pay file. I discovered asterisks in the account number in bank code maintenance. I changed it back to the actual account number. I wonder if there is a proxy update that fixed this.

This morning it was masked even though all users have all rights. We changed it to the actual account number. Because Bank Account No is now an encrypted value we can't see it in DFDM (grrr) but I created a Crystal with GL_Bankpii.work and it is showing the full account number. But the ***XXX is definitely what started all this. What makes it just worse is that these are healthcare workers that are going to be paid late!

One more note, @Kate Krueger - sometimes the account gets wiped out, and sometimes it gets replaced with ***XXXX. If you look in the file, it actually has the *** in there, not just masked for display.

@Beth Bowers I certainly will! In your experience, if you just put the bank account number back in Bank Code Maintenance is it okay? Or are you having to do anything more invasive?

Kate -
If you have time, could you please connect your case on this to case 8008005306? I'm now on my third customer who has had the account number wiped out of the Bank Code file - two have payroll, one does not. Seems to be related to the Bank Rec Register update/purge. Sage has not been able to replicate, and it seems to be getting worse...

I wish I could help! iSolved is used by one of my customers for TimeForce, and their support line was pretty responsive. I saw that the iSolved Salt Lake City support office is still open I'd escalate it - it would be terrible if employees had a delayed check, especially right now!
