Customer is on Sage 100 Standard V 2016 PU1. Normal payroll run for quarter end bonus checks. Normally EE get direct deposit but for bonuses, the get checks. 2 employees out of 10 in check run had this problem. Customer reported that the federal withholding tax was around double what it was supposed to be. I logged in and entered the same figures for same employee.and noted that after the tax calculation was run, the number of hours was the exact same number as the federal tax withholding. I did not key in the number of hours or change the rate. I overrode the pay amount. I assume that the tax calculation did something really odd. Has anyone seen anything close to point me to a solution?
Upgrade to 2019 is underway.....
