    Ran into an issue with payroll 2019.2 PR 2.20 with latest fixes.

    Sage KB ID:96425 "Payroll Check Register hangs when using multiple check series in one payroll run with large difference in range"

    Client uses same bank code for AP & PR with different check numbers sequences.

    Workaround:
    Edit GL_Bank.m4t field 16 to field 15 minus 1

    This manual edit to GL_Bank works perfectly.

    Sage told me it should have been fixed and to reinstall PR 2.20 and hotfixes.

    Did that and still have the issue.

    Could someone write a script to do this? IS it possible to trigger the script during check printing or before the check register begins?

    Need a solution quickly, they do weekly payroll and they don't want to have to call me before each check run to implement the "workaround" LOL.

    Gotta love those clients who think outside the Sage box.

    Suggestions.
    Tough Love #1) Quit using a separate sequence for different types of checks on the same bank account!  Is there really a business reason that makes sense?
    Tough Love #2) Have them contact their local bank branch​​​ to set up a new sweep account so they can have legitimate check sequences.  Funds transfer every night.
    3)  Have them post an entry on the Idea website to expedite the fix.
    4)  Tell them it can't be done and that they will have to continue calling you to fix it.  This will enhance YOUR bank account.  At some point, they might realize suggestion #1 makes economic sense.
    5) Have them call 800-854-3415, open a case and then wait on hold for 60 minutes only to be told that a smarter person will have to call them back........After hours!  Again, #1 will start making sense.
    6) Contact Joe D for an enhancement.
    7) If Joe D is brought into the conversation, consider increasing your fees!

    Hope you find a suitable solution if none of the above work.
