Oh just bleeping marvelous. I have a JobOps customer on 2022 - does JobOps have a 2024.1 release yet?

But even if we have the 1099 fields now separated for new A/P Vendors with v2023.4 and 2024.1, it seems like I read somewhere that Sage said we'll have to manually separate the names in the Aatrix spreadsheet for folks who use an SSN number. I think it is only new Vendors that are set up who have the fields separated in those 2 newer versions. Probably what our company will do is to export the names out into a spreadsheet, separate the first and last names in that spreadsheet and then import back into the right fields in Sage so clients don't have to worry about the names next year or the years following.
(And I totally agree with Wayne on the N-1 thing!)

I had to read this dang thing several times. What I gathered is that 2.25 is compatible with versions 2021 and up. BUT if you want Aatrix to populate the vendor names correctly, you need to be on 2023.4 and up. Oh yeah, I realized it is not Friday a little while after sending my first response ... you betcha I need a day off!

I think the first line of the KB article is misleading all the way around. It refers to versions prior to 2022 (which would include 2021), while the very next line says that Payroll 2.25 is compatible with 2021. And of course, the 1099 changes look like they're ONLY in 2023.4 and 2024.1. So - is Payroll 2.25 compatible with v2021 or not?
The KB Article:
***Sage 100 Payroll 2.25 release and 1099 updates may not be compatible with Sage 100 versions prior to version 2022 (7.10.x).
To receive the latest features and program fixes, users must upgrade to Payroll 2.25. This is compatible with all Sage 100 versions 2021 - 2024 for W2s, W3s, and 1095 printing.
To receive changes to 1099s, users must be on the latest product updates 2024.1 (7.30.1) & 2023.4 (7.20.4). The 1099 Individual Type Name fields in Vendor Maintenance Additional Tab have been separated into 3 fields - First, Middle, Last.
