[Timetrex](www.timetrex.com) is one. Pricing for the on premise Professional Edition is quite similar to the Sage announcement, but also includes HR, time & attendance and scheduling. Cloud hosting version available as well - it is a php/MySQL app. More expensive editions include document management, recruitment, etc. Priced by employee with per employee discounts as the count increases. Count is of employees marked active, and count can be adjusted annually for on premise or monthly in the cloud version. There is also a Community Edition that might work for some companies small enough not to have ACA issues.

The hot new service competing with ADP and Paychex is Paylocity. I know nothing about it, except it's supposed to be a whole lot less.

Is anyone interested in establishing an adhoc committee with the charge of gathering info about cost, experiences and other recommendations about payroll providers? The deliverable should be: a. Listing of what people have used, approximate cost b. Anonymized comments (pro, con) c. Level of integration (if any) with Sage 100, 300
