I posted this last week under a different thread:

I just received clarification from Sage Development:

1. Payroll 2.21.0 includes the changes to populate the Aatrix files. It was left out of the documentation. Install PR 2.21.0, update the Aatrix forms, and install the tax updates that will be released (I think one next week and the other the following week) and that's all that's needed for 2020 Payroll year-end.

2. There is no 2020 IRD. It is only needed for AP anymore and there are no changes needed for AP this year. AP6001T still needs to be installed for the 1099-NEC utilities.

Remind me again what the benefits are of the "new" payroll v2.xx.  In the "old" versions of payroll, the program was installed once and every year a PR tax table update was installed.  I have probably installed six or seven releases of v2.x in the last two years. 

I love the update to business framework which actually filters data by the exact date (you know, like an accounting system is supposed to) instead of using "buckets".

@Shari Eckersley, does this mean that PR2.20.3 is not sufficient for year-end processing with Aatrix?  And it was left out of the documentation?  Seriously?
