    Posted 08-08-2019 13:43

Once Payroll 2.19.4 is installed, you will need to enter an Employee Rate for the WA Paid Family & Medical Leave in Company Tax Group Setup. If you don't, then no Employee FPML will calculate. To get it to work like before, the employee rate should be set to .2533.

This was changed from having the employee rate stored in CLAD to allow flexibility for if the employer decides to pay all or part of the employee portion.

Also be sure to run the Payroll Status Check Utility under the Utilities menu any time you install any payroll update or a new payroll version.  The utility will provide a warning if a company specific tax is not setup.

2.19.4 isn't released yet.  This is a heads up to expect and plan for this change once it is released and we are doing installations.

@Shari Eckersley - have you got the form to print with data via Aatrix?  I have a WA client and when I drill into their taxes I see the amounts for this new tax, BUT when we try to print from Aatrix we have nothing.
