  • 1.  Payroll 2.19 Direct Deposit Stubs Didn't Email

    First payroll run for version 2019 Standard using payroll 2.19.  The direct deposit stubs didn't email to the employees.  It's the same server as version 2017 and there were no changes in paperless office.  Any ideas why the direct deposit stubs didn't get emailed?

    This might be the 'Duh' answer and not trying to be facitious(?) but since new workstation setup etc, did user select the correct paperless output?

    Maybe they did not select the correct option when printing the direct deposit stubs (i.e. pdf all and electronically deliver, for example)?

    Agree with all that has been said. For us it has always been the user didn't select the proper print option. Defaults to Print the first time. I've been thinking having Post-It notes printed with: 

    Sage 100 has been upgraded. Check print settings are correct. If electronically delivering invoices, remittances, or payroll stubs, make sure to select an electronic delivery option when printing. 

    After installing an upgrade, a Post-It note is put on each monitor. Thinking of giving away packages at 90Minds.

    Just love the first go live adventures.  You set the system up so it runs effectively (meaning they don't have to think) and then you move the cheese on them.  NEVER use the standard report setting!!!!  Love it!

    Now, if only someone could figure out why during the emailing of 150 PR DD advices (from a session at the server) that chillkat throws an error on five PDF's.  All others are sent successfully (and quickly I might add).  Seemingly random, sent via Google.

    Right on @Jeff Schwenk  On v2017 I had made a copy of the generic STANDARD DD form, so the settings were always saved.  I hadn't set up the "copy of STANDARD" on 2019 and of course the payroll forms don't copy from 201 7 to 2019... thus, the user didn't know to select Electronic Printing because she never has to do it. ​
