    Payroll 2016 - need to move wages from one county to another. Trying to do a negative line of total wages from bad county, positive total in good county. Same earnings code. Keeps telling me wages subject to w/h less than 0. No deductions. Even with manual tax check box checked.... Help!

    Do you have the same tax flag settings under the earnings code and deduction code you're using?

    I ran into this the other day, too. Just ended up voiding the whole original paycheck and reissuing. The client didn't have time for me to troubleshoot.

    Is it the same state for both entries? Do both counties have the same set of local taxes and just the rates are different?

    Normally the problem is the 401K flags.

    I wonder if Sage is aware of these issues so they can be remedied in v2.0 PR??
