  • 1.  Paya desktop required to perform company copy on system with APS/Repay

    I may have seen a post on this somewhere, but I can't find anything.  I am upgrading a client from 2019 to 2021.2.  When I attempted to copy data to a test company, I received the "Cannot communicate with Sage Exchange Desktop 2.0.  Verify the application is installed and running . . ."  I installed SED on the workstation and can now copy data, but is it shouldn't be required for systems with APS/Repay, should it?  They have never had Paya as their CC processor.

    I've had the same thing for APS / Repay customers.  I guess it could be checking if the Sage / Paya Vault was ever used in the past... but that is just a guess.

    I had the same. It also asks for Paya when converting the APS/Repay credit card data. Repay tech support was as surprised as i was to learn that Paya was required to convert Repay data ?? We installed Paya and the conversion went through
