Patty Benitez surfaces at SWK -- some of you may remember her as Hightowers long time salesperson. She had left perhaps two (?) years before HTI came tumbling down.

And of HTI, what is the latest with their client base? How is the transition going? Beth, what became of your client that was left in the lurch?

That's a completely worthless hire. They might want to fire her immediately.

John, remember, you can be completely open and honest on this forum. What is said at the OASIS, stays at the OASIS. Please, tell us what is really on your mind!!!!!!

Just calling it the way I see it, Jeff.

I'm not sure I had better or worse results with Patty than with anyone at HTI. They seemed to have quite a ""unique"" corporate culture there which caused me on many occasions to proclaim them one of the most arrogant and unfriendly partners I'd dealt with.

Yeah. She was typical of HTI in my opinion.

A sad day for SWK. Hopefully she won't have any luck poisoning their culture.

The only person I liked dealing with there was Brian Dunn...the rest of them were pretty useless.

HTI seems like it might be a lot for SWK to digest. It's a bold move.

But on the other hand, perhaps a change of environment and expectations will have a positive impact on her. Stranger things have happened. if not, I am sure SWK will not hesitate to make adjustments to their strategy.

Patti was a good order taker. See, I said something nice.

I am still waiting on a couple of quotes from her from 2007. One of them was even ready to place an order at the time.... Wonder if she has been consulting with Sage on the Customer Service Transformation over the past few months. I see some similarities of style.

I would have to disagree Gary. She messed that up as well.

I never had her quote for me. I got prices off the website. Much more efficient. Still being nice....

I took the client live April 2 working directly with them. I gave them the choice of waiting to see what shook out at Hightower or paying me what they'd already prepaid Hightower. They're a good client and I'm glad they chose to go live, since we were so close. Spoke with some people at SWK but nothing much happened. Said they wanted to work with me, ya da ya da, but I don't think they really want to be outsourcing right now since they're probably already cutting quotes to try to keep the Hightower clients happy.
