Password Cracker for Paperless PDF - Anone have a cracker program that can be used to reveal the master PW for paperless. Client changed it some time ago, but can't remember it now.

Couldn't we use something like the admin password cracker, same logic just stored in a different field and table? I'm on the road now and can't check but just an idea

I need the human equivalent to open up 18 months worth of PR PDF's. Client knows the employee password (ssn) but would like to stop having to look this information up before opening the PDF. Knowing what the master password is speed things up. They can easily change the code going forward but I thought I would give this a shot.

So couldn't you just send the file to Sage or to an MD and have them tell you what the encrypted password is?

Worth a try I suppose. Never gave that a thought because when you forget the administrator password, don't they they give you another one?

From a Senior Support Analyst at Sage ""Sorry we do not have any way of displaying or un-encrypting the password. But I think there are PDF password crackers that you can purchase."" Was worth a try.
