Partner Jump-StartSage 100c and Sage 300c Promotion and contest Is it just me, or do partners do what is in the best interest of their customers?

That's why they talk a lot in these contests about salespeople

I just read the entire ""rules page"". This one struck me as funny... ""Sponsor may conduct one (1) alternate drawing for each prize, after which the prize will remain unawarded. If the potential winner is a Canadian resident he/she will be required to correctly answer, without mechanical aid, a time limited mathematical skill testing question to be administered by telephone, at a time mutually convenient for potential winner and Sponsor, prior to verification and award of prize.

So Canadians are required to know that 2+2=4? Even if they were born in the USA they still couldn't run for office here...

I'm guessing that there is some odd law in Canada about contests/sweepstakes that giving a test on math problems bypasses somehow. It's funny though.

Yes, it is Canadian law in order to avoid illegal private lotteries. There are 3 elements to a contest: the prize has value, the sponsor benefits financially, and the winner is chosen at random (luck). They remove one of these, which is the luck factor, and make contestants answer a skill question.

Just LIKE a Sage certification test!!!!
