  • 1.  Paperless PDF's can't be opened

    Customer upgraded in January and since then Paperless Remittance Advices are created as a 0 kb document and won't open, giving an error that file is unsupported or damaged.
    Any ideas on how to fix?

    Make sure they don't have aggressive AV software scanning the Paperless path.  Technically, I think the PDF is created first, then content merged in (like when printing additional reports for SO postings...), and if the PDF is locked by AV scanning the file, that wouldn't work.

    @Nancy Hanson - What @Kevin Moyes said! I'll add you should ask IT to also exclude .CAT files from realtime scanning. With older versions of Amyuni and probably current ones too, it creates .CAT file 1st then renames it to .PDF. Then as Kevin said, content is further merged into the PDF when Sage prints additional reports like we see with Daily Sales Reports.
