    Was wondering if anyone has seen this issue....  Sage 100 Advanced, 2016
    I have set up three reports to be run during SO PE and create PDF's - All reports are using the STANDARD report setting.  Two of the reports work exactly as expect, however the SO_CustomerSalesHistory report will not execute from PE.  I have removed and re-added it.  Moved its position in the printing queue and attempted to run it alone during this process.  And run all the reports to preview from PE - once again, two ran fine, this one did not.  Finally, I ran it manually from the report menu and it executed perfectly.  Has anyone seen behavior of this type?

    As a temporary work around, I have run the report manually to view, exported it to PDF and put it in the folder where it should go and renamed it to follow the proper conventions and added a record to PL_PeriodEndPDFLog.M4T referencing this manually run report.  Obviously, not a long term solution.  I am out of ideas ...  TIA - Randy

    From a solution in 2009......

    Check the setting below.  Sage has been known to not activate everything in paperless.

    Paperless Print Settings.

    To modify report so that it launches paperless printing, modify field 18 in SY_Task.m4t.

    Journals/Registers – 1

    Report Viewer – 5

    Period End – 6

    Invoice Printing – 2

    Thanks Jeff - I had such high hopes!  That field was set to '5' for Report Viewer, so I changed it to '6' for Period End - but no joy ... just a quick progress bar then nothing....

    As a different work around tag it as a paperless office capable report.  You still have to run the report on demand but, you can select the "Paperless Office" printer instead of the normal printer and it will create and index the .PDF office file for use in the Report viewer.
