Sage 100

A long time Sage 100 Advanced customer noted that over the weekend the system stopped prompting to print in PDF format when updating journals and the DTRs and it doesn't provide the customary preview after printing. The updates are being recorded in Paperless Office and can be reviewed after the fact but the customer would like to view them at the time of the update

There were not changes made to the system and when I review the settings in Paperless Office all journals are set to "Prompt."

Has anyone ever seen this behavior before?

There is a new Role permission to auto-update the DTR, but the initial journal / register should still show the PDF during the first stage of the posting.

I have never seen an auto-update of the initial journal/register.  We typically turn the prompt off for asking if they want to create a .pdf because they always say yes.  Auto DTR update no longer shows the GL report first.

Also, if you're not using divisions, I point out to clients that the Recap by Division report (when posting invoices) can serve as a substitute for the DTR for purposes of checking numbers. Even if you are running divisions it can server that way but it's simpler without.
