  • 1.  Paperless office Move Utility Advanced to Premium..

    Hi All,
       I am doing a platform change for a client.  They have 17 modifications so I am not at all anxious to remigrate the system files.  I have the Utility to Move Paperless Fles,  It does seem to presume Providex files.  Is there a way to get the Providex files into SQL?   Generally utilities like this have to be specific for SQL   

    Keeping my fingers crossed and thanks in advance for any info on this.

    Bob, 

    You can use the PL_Logmerge routine for PVX to SQL.  Just place the PL_JournalPDFLogold.M4T in the MAS_System folder and it will merge the old file into the SQL table.   Also if you need the other logs, I have a specific  LogMerge  routine for each (i.e.  PeriodEnd and Reports )

    HI Jim,

      I followed the steps.  I put the two files (PL_LOGMERGE & PDFLogConvertDirectoryV2) in the SOA folder.  I copied the Pl_JournalLogPdf.M4T to the MAS_System (they don't PDF Period End or Reports).   I ran syzcon & typed in RUN "PL_MERGELOG" and I get an error #12 File does not exist.   I reextracted the files and put them in place again, I checked security on the SOA folder, I pasted the file name into syzcon (to be 100% sure I was not typing it incorrectly) all with no luck.     Any thoughts on what I am missing?

       Quick question on the move utility.  Does it add to or replace the Pl_JournalLogPdf.M4T table?   My client is saying some things are missing and wondering if I can add them (if I can find them) with the utility.

    The utility merges the files together. Did the company numbers change? This file is linked with the company number not the 3 letter code. You might need to a change and replace. Open the file in DFDM and figure if it is out there.
