Unfortunately there now are a bunch of different causes/solutions which are scattered across old/new kb.
One thing that seems to work for me is to check for stray lock files left behind in the registry. I also make sure the users have full permissions.
- Open Registry Editor:
- From the Windows Desktop, Start button / Run (or Search Programs and Features) / REGEDIT
- Under "HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\Software\Sage 100 PDF Converter" (formerly Sage PDF Converter), if either of the following folders (keys) exist, right-click each such folder (key), then select Delete:
- Jobs
- Locks
- Go to File, Exit to close out of the Registry Editor
If they are printing from a remote desktop environment then you should be looking on the remote desktop registry
