  • 1.  Paperless Office Forms

    Does anyone know of a way to force all forms (SO invoices) to always print to PDF?

    We know that they can reprint the invoice from history, but looking to find the "original" invoice PDF for the auditors.

    Journal and Registers have the auto create PDF, but I can not find any way to "auto create" the form codes.

    Ooh, ooh!  I want to know this, too!  Since we can customize the Sales Order Printing screen, why can we not customize the Sales Order Invoice Printing screen?!?  Is there a hidden unlock for that?  Take away the preview button and make the Paperless Office selection field inaccessible, maybe making the setting change in DFDM for those that need it changed.

    Hi, Michelle.
    SO Instadocs from DSD does this and more! Enhancement adds the Instadoc tab to Customer Maintenance which becomes a repository for all docs for that customer.  Drill down on a specific invoice and the Instadocs tab follows, narrowed down for transactions relating specifically to that invoice.  When invoices are printed or previewed, Instadocs asks:
    I have clients who go directly to the invoice in Customer Maintenance, drill down to Invoice History, go to the Instadocs tab in Invoice History, right click on the invoice pdf and send to a customer.  They LOVE that.  Hope that helps!
