  • 1.  Paperless Office Email Template - v2026

    What is the secret sauce for embedding an image in the email template?  

    I added an image via a link (pulling from local drive C:).  The image appears in the template but does not appear in the recipient's HTML email.  I tried a copy/paste, but that did not work.

    Is this possible, or should I reach out to @Todd Martin for his email enhancement?

    I have a jpg of my signature in my Invoice email but it's been there so long I don't remember if it was hard to get working, or not. When you say you got it from the C drive, if this for YOUR Sage 100, or a client's Sage 100 where it probably needs to be from the server where everyone can access?

    MY local workstation.

    I suppose if I knew my way around a website, I could put it there with a hyperlink embedded in my email.

    @Todd Martin Does your enhancement handle embedded images any better?

    Try using the button to insert an image (instead of using an image link).

    You need to have a URL that is public for your image. It doesn't embed the image from your local machine but point to it in the email. The image must be public to refer to it. You can put it on your website or AWS S3 or something. Here is an example on v2026.

    When it is sent it will look like this

    As to being able to embed images, it can be done but you can't use the built-in process to do it as sage has a limited size that the email can be. Our Advanced HTML for Paperless can handle larger files and can have embedded images, but I do not have it available for 2026 yet.
