  • 1.  Paperless Office Electronic Delivery of documents

    Has anyone come up with a solution for emailing documents (Invoice, Statement, PO) from Sage 100, where the corporate policy to to disallow the "send as setting" in email mailboxes?  The Billing Clerk needs to have turned on the feature in their email settings to allow the Email on the company maintenance setting screen, to "send as them" or "send on behalf" of another (not sure of the exact wording).  Is there a work around if corporate policy does not allow this setting?

    If you are saying the client wants to have the Paperless e-mails come from a different e-mail address than what's in Company Maint, that's a restriction within the e-mail service, but you should be able to 'designate' in the e-mail system which e-mail accounts can be used (i.e. in Company Maint).  Otherwise you may need to use some sort of SMTP-relay or something like SMTP2GO.

    A relay service may be best, I will look into that one.  They do not want to set up the Company Maintenance as Info@Company.com, then set Joe and Mary's email addresses to "allow send as" for the Info@ email.  And I think the SMTP Relay is too open.  Thank you for your reply @Brett Zimmerman
