    Does anyone know of a way-or a third‑party product-that would allow a company to route Paperless Office journals/registers created by specific users to a different folder and/or protect them with a different password?

    For example:

    • Any GL Journal Entry created by the CFO should not be visible to other users, even if they have GL access.

    • Any AP Invoice Entry created by a certain user should not be accessible to other employees through Paperless Office PDFs or by browsing the folder in Windows Explorer.

    We're looking for a method to segregate or secure these documents based on the user who created them.

    There is a Security Option Allow to view other users Paperless. If they don't have that right, they can only see registers they updated themselves.

    That security option only applies to accessing the files through the Paperless Viewer, but does not control access if the user navigates to the PDF folder manually.

    The only full Paperless security strategy I know of is putting the files into a different folder (by document type or company code).  I don't know of a by-user option.
