Our community is everything. Finding a solution that not only meets our requirements but exceeds our expectations has been an incredible journey. We are pleased to announce the selection of Higher Logic as 90 Minds new platform to replace Socialcast, Evernote, and Dropbox. Developed specifically for community collaboration, outreach, and engagement, Higher Logic contains all the features for a single-platform solution to replace the current Socialcast, Evernote, and DropBox. The product will provide a one-site, one-login resource for the 90 Minds Membership and act as a forward-facing website to attract new members and highlight our members to end-users. Over the next several months, we'll be building this new platform for you, converting the content from our old solutions and retaining the history we have created. Our team has put together a conversion plan that includes, extensive testing, interface education, and onboarding events as well as site development, conversion, and expansion of benefits taking advantage of the new features this product affords. IMO, Moira understated the effort required to get to this place. This search process has gone on for more than 2 years! Almost all of the alternatives found before Higher Logic would have been a step back from what we've had with Socialcast, even though Socialcast is very far from optimal. The weird thing about this process is that the committee literally stumbled across Higher Logic by contacting GPUG, the Great Plains user association (which, of course, is far broader than that now) for their experiences with their site. GPUG uses Higher Logic, and are huge fans of its functionality. Because the committee had already done so much research and technical work under the hood of several possibilities, the committee immediately understood how remarkable Higher Logic is. They then proceeded with appropriate due diligence and confirmed the initial assessment. This new platform will enable 90 Minds to do both what we've been doing easier and better, and what we need to do expand into new offerings that will further benefit out community. This really was a remarkable and unusual effort by that volunteer group on the committee!

Yes, I started in 2015 tasked with finding a knowledge base product to replace Evernote and DropBox. Interesting that this morphed into a full platform replacement, which makes sense for our group and how we interact. I'd looked at many products to start then the committee continued and reviewed 28 products! We had some very good contenders, since all products had to have the minimum feature requirements we have all become accustom too in Socialcast (we were very close on 3 on them). Higher Logic won out in it's community platform features. Big thank you to Darcy Boerio who secured Bob McAdam as a guest speaker for our Membership Committee. When @RobertWood and I saw how they used Higher Logic for their communities (about 10) we knew it was well worth reviewing.

This ranks as high in my book as a Tiger Woods victory! Well done team!!!
