    Our client has both customer aliases and general aliases. When entering in an order in Sales Order, if there is a customer alias for the itemcode it will correctly pick up that alias and store it on the sales order detail line. However, if there is not a customer alias, but there is a general alias, it will pick that up and store it on the sales order detail line. Is there a way to prevent this?

    I think you can do this with scripting

    Remove the general alias
