Other than Sage, where can customers purchase blank, perforated 4-up 1099 Forms to print using eFiling and Reporting task in Sage 100? We can find the other forms at various vendors but have not been able to find the forms listed above other than from Sage. Thanks! Pam

Are you thinking that the forms are not fillable or that your end user prefers to buy the forms?

My client can't find blank 1099 forms from their local vendor either. They could use w-2 forms but I think they will have printing also. If they order from Sage by Friday, they can save 25% on the order.

Here's the IRS document on substituted 1099 - I don't think the forms have to be in pink type any longer but please verify first - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p1179.pdf. I believe Aatrix prints the forms for no add'l money.

Doesn't Aatrix prompt to enter the pink 2-up form for official filing and then only prints the data? The 4-up form is for Recipient and we advise clients to print on plain paper instead of purchasing the perforated form.

I don't know. I couldn't find anywhere on the IRS instructions that said the 1099 had to be in pink ink though in several places it mentions it needing to be an exact copy.

We've been purchasing our Federal 1099-MISC forms from Office Max http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/467170/ComplyRight-1099-MISC-Tax-Forms-InkjetLaser/

Per the Aatrix website: 1099 IRS Copies To print the IRS 1099 copies, use the red official paper. Be sure to check the print alignment so data inside the boxes can be captured on the red forms. http://aatrix.com/support/windows-faqs/year-end-questions/common-w-21099-questions/printing-and-reprinting/w-21099-paper-specifications/

If you choose to buy forms from GreatLand, be prepared to be stalked by phone, by email by USPS mail for at least a year.

One of our local mom & pop stationery/print store has the blank paper that is perforated for use with 1099's and W-2's. Check your local people and see what they can offer.

Getting perforated paper I think is the only requirement
