Or write in your own idea

It's hard to picture a scenario in which Gregorec would leave Sage. He's pretty well ensconced in the role and has built a great team.

Does it count as ""departing"" if Tom falls asleep?

Yes ... if he doesn't wake up after doing so. The ultimate departure. I have a client that deals with ""old people"" - their words not mine. They made us create an action rule in Sage CRM called ""Ineligible for Service"" ie; they died.

If Ed leaves that means he and I have started a business together. Which we have been talking about.

After that rendition of ""Corner in the Sky"", I thought he might be Broadway bound................ I am assuming that the start up venture is highly confidential and should not be discussed at all. Yes, I know this is posted in the private area, but loose lips do sink ships..........

BTW - when you vote here it does not appear to disclose who voted for which exec.

IMO, you have to think in terms of who has more to lose, more backlash to bear for new expensive programs that may fail or cause extreme customer dissatisfaction. Based on what happens with the implementation and wrath caused by the new support agreement changes, my guess is Jeff Szoranos would be next. He is the VP of Support for the Western region. Jeff's boss got rid of his predecessor in 2008 for the same type of reason. 2nd guess and a WAG at that is Tom Miller assuming he is approaching retirement age - axing him, laying him off, or leaving under duress just before retirement would be the Sage way.

At the pace they are leaving voluntarily, can Sage afford to show someone the door?

@AlnoorCassim I'm not so sure that Jeff Szoranos was the one who introduced the concept of premium support. It has been Sage UK's goal for quite some time to have North America increase premium support. I'll admit that when I heard them discuss premium support I was not sure if they were talking only Peachtree level customers or if that might reach into the ERP (MAS90, Accpac, MAS500). I see the screw up as not so much the fact that it was implemented as the way that all of these changes have been communicated. Sage REALLY blew it by not seeing that these topics would be controversial (and might be driving partners to competitors as we speak): 1. Dropping unlimited support for VARS 2. Releasing half baked certification requirements (no answers) 3. Missing that re-branding concerns would require some communication to the channel or the channel would take to communicating semi-publicly on places like LinkedIn. I would personally pin this on Tom Miller. The buck stops at the Channel Chief. And I like Tom and respect him for what he has allowed to happen with the Ed Kless/Rob Johnson programs. I think Tom is the guy who is supposed to be running these types of rollouts to the channel. To stick some tech support person in front of the group of Sage partners to announce drastic changes in how they do business with Sage -- in the one area most make money -- is basically negligent and incompetent in my opinion. Yes they had Laurie Schultz on the call (who surely must have been packing up her desk at the same time) who also stood back and let other staff respond to questions, etc. The one saving vote in Tom's favor will likely be Pascal Houillon who appears to me from observation at press events to have a rather cavalier opinion of the channel which is probably because he may not be used to working with them as much in Europe. Just my .02

So no one guess Jeff G. Looks like the entire SAGECRM management team is GONE.
