    HI All,

Have a client on Sage 100 2020 with update 3,  Their OM version is 6.20.1.0 They also have MB but I don't think that matters in this case.   They have a labor batch for one date that will not update.  It gives an error #43 in JTWJAA at line 6150.   There are entries for 3 employees, none of which are over 99 hours.   There are a number of completion entries in the batch but they don't have any hours. The KB has nothing that relates to lin e6150.  Scanco will not assist because of the version which is annoying at they did try to do an upgrade but got tons of errors between OM and MB.  Scanco did not provide any fixes in spite of repeated calls & emails so they did not upgrade. (sorry, enough of my rant)

I did find one entry without an end time but I deleted it with no change.   I rebuilt the  Dailytimeentry file but it found no issues.  Any thoughts / advise would be appreciated.

I'm no expert on operations management, but it strikes me as odd all the entries that have no beginning time but have an ending time of 12 AM?  Is that normal?

    Hi Tom

Those are completion entries.  They do look a bit odd in the report but the entry shows them as they should look.

    Thank you,

Did you run the data validation report? Do any of the work tickets on the labor report appear there?

The Data Validation report finds no issues.    But that was a good thought.

I think at this point, I would backup the company data, and in the backup delete all of those records with just an "end time'.  And see if the update goes through.  Those transactions are so old at this point (January 2024) the work tickets may be in history and causing an issue.  I also don't find anything about this error.

Hi All, turned out that a number of work tickets were closed, after removing them in a test company the batch updated ok.    Thanks for all the suggestions
