Only client running MRP (and JobOps). Needless to say, I am NOT an expert. They are having issues with projected demand on items with options. Is there any work around for the situation?
""Have a problem that I've run across concerning MRP Projected Demands and BOM's that utilize options. The issue is that if I enter in quantities for a given month of a BOM that uses the ""option"" callout, the item that has the option (typically a hose) will not show up in the MRP inquiry screen nor the CEM (Component Exception Manager in JobOps). Is there anything that can be done so that at least a default option (say option 'A') is automatically assigned? As things stand right now, MRP Projected demands is useless in forecasting/projecting usages of components in which options are enabled.
