One of the tasks in our SQL Maintenance Plan is failing. I can't open the Maintenance Plan to modify it - what I really want to do is understand what's failing. Can anyone give me a hint what might be at fault? Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard/SQL 2008. We are on SageCRM 7.0D, but preparing for 7.1 upgrade.

Thanks @PhilMcIntosh , so should I be able to modify that Maint. Plan and correct that? I can't get the plan to open so I can modify it.

Ok, the process continues. I'm at the step where I'm supposed to mount the MS SQL server installation media. I think I've got the right disc (it's labeled Microsoft SQL Server 2008 CTP 5 (from our Action Pack). Mounted it. But when I launch SETUP, I see the info in the 2nd screen shot. Am I in the right place with the right disk? (Toto, we are not in Kansas anymore).

The Action Pack iso files I have for SQL Server are: SQL_Svr_DC_Std_Wkgp_Ent_DevSB_2008_R2_English_X16-52869 for SQL 2008 R2 which shows as SQLFULL_EN when mounted SW_DVD5_SQL_Svr_StdWkgpEntDevSB_2008_English_FPP_X14-85691 for SQL 2008 which shows as SQLServer2008 when mounted If M$ won't let you download SQL 2008 anymore, let me know and I will figure a way to transfer what I have to you. Do you know whether it is SQL 2008 or SQL 2008 R2? (it should say under Add/remove programs).

Can't find anywhere to download SQL 2008 full version. From the attached screenshot of Programs, I think the problem may be that I have Express installed and not full. What's your interpretation?

That looks like you have SQL Server 2008 (no R2) installed but the management tools are the SQL express tools. SO you need to uninstall the SQL Express Management tools and install the full management tools from SQL Server 2008 DVD.

Yeah. So, if you can figure out a way to get me a .ISO file, I will be quite grateful. I tried to find one on the MS Action Pack site, but they only have R2.

Thanks, Phil - but I'm getting an error 403 - I don't have rights. But at the moment, I'm on to upgrading our 7.0D to 7.1. And another post.

Well that's interesting - our web host must have a size limit on the files because the permissions are the same as ones that will download. Maybe we could use gotoassist to transfer the file?

Lemme get back to you. I'm distracted by my CRM upgrade (see my other post). :-)
