Sage 100

One of my Sage 100 users is asking for a way to track the workflow in preparing journal entries. I think she wants to have some sort of approval process workflow before they actually get posted. I've suggested maybe role maintenance security could work if we didn't allow specific users the rights to update but said I'd ask to see if anyone has used something they could recommend?

One more time before I kick this can down the road and tell the customer I was not able to locate anyone doing this type of workflow.

We've done something similar to this in check printing with scripting. We added an ""approved"" check box that was only visible to some users, and the print button was hidden if the box was not checked. Then they took it a step further and had a mod created to not allow the register to update unless all the entries were checked.
