OK, what am I missing - v2016 STD - I think I have the customizer import wizard twice since it became a ""feature"". Both times it was messy. I was hoping that third time would be the charm but not sure. Only select users will use the panels so I thought customization group. So I add one called ""DOC"" to a couple users. Then I go to import the panel customizations. I see one called ""DOC"" during the import and I click away. When the wizard is finished, drill down to the CO folder in PO and see that one called ""Group"" was created, not ""DOC"". I log on as one of the ""DOC"" users, but the customizations do not appear. Did I miss a step?

You need to assign the customization group to a user in User Maintenance before you will see it in the list.

Did that. It appears as Group - Doc in the Wizard selection. But as noted above, when I logon as one of the users assigned to the group, they do not see the customizations.

I reported this issue on 2014 (where groups were not being honored for customizations), so am wondering if it's broken again.

Well, that is what it is starting to look like. Just got a call from a user there saying her screens changed and she isn't even in the group that should be affected. Looks like a FUBAR kind of day. Very interesting. What does it say about a feature that was broken in v2014, fixed and then rebroken in v2016 and STILL not fixed after many months that v2017 has been on the street? What good are the features if no one uses them? Or better yet, how is there really a QA staff any more? I hope that isn't the case here. This has NOT been a fun DocLink install.....

Is it possible to just create a DOC-### panel modification and then just copy the group-### mod into it without doing anything else?

It would work except the grids won't copy if they've been modified.

Well it appears that the CO import wizard has a bug in it? I created the custom group panel for DOC and Sage create a GroupDoc-### folder. The import wizard create a Group-XXX folder. @WayneSchulz - The next time you call Tech support, can you add this to their bug list?
