    OK, what am I missing? I used to be able to create a new company and then copy selected data files from another company, like the chart of accounts, vendors, etc, without copying the corresponding transaction history. When I go into company maintenance and click the copy button, I am asked if I want to ""copy all data files to the selected company?"" If I say no, the process ends. If I say yes, I get everything including history. I want to copy the Chart of Accounts and all supporting tables from an existing company into a new company. There used to be a Run - Command Line utility for that but I can't for the life of me remember the 6 character code. Thanks for the help.

    SVTRNA but it only does AR, AP, & IM. It should still work but the chart of accounts can be copied from another company when going through the GL setup.

    Create the new company then double click on GL account maintenance or any other GL program. Go through the setup program. See attached screen shot.
