Ok, so is there anyone in the group who hasn't been approached by Scan-Optics for a MAS 200/JobOps quote? Anyone at all?

Same old thing. Previous management got fired (CFO, Controller and Accounting Manager). New regime starting from scratch and doing the bid round.

I haven't either - guess it's time to see if one of those SEO spammers will actually guarantee me top of page 1.

@MarkChinsky They went live a few years ago. Still on 4.2 though, probably looking to upgrade to 4.5.

We have not. Wow--CFO, Controller and Acctg Mgr all fired in one fell swoop. That might be a business owner that would be ""fun"" to work with.

It's not as uncommon as you think. I had a customer a few years back where they were , according to them, going to be growing like crazy. Within a year just about all the management had been fired -- CFO, Warehouse Manager, Sales Managers, Marketing, etc. Unfortunately there's not much you can do in those situations. Any time there's turnover = watch out. I always see when new people come in as CFO level types that there's a high possibility they bring in their own consulting team.

@JosephJenders They all left months apart, primarily because stake holders were not seeing an anticipated turnaround. But, as Wayne said, it's not uncommon for new management to start from scratch.

Whenever you see: 1. IT Manager sending out an email 2. The words ""we'd like a quote"" 3. A short timeframe that assumes you can start by week's end RUN
