Ok my tech gods, I bought a MacBook Pro and Office for MAC 2011. The Office product came with Remote Desktop and I've been trying to set up access to clients via the RDP and get the following: Remote Desktop Connection cannot verify the identity of the computer that you want to connect to. This problem can occur if: The remote computer is running a version of Windows that is earlier than Windows Vista. The remote computer is configured to support only the RDP security layer. Contact your administrator, or the owner of the remote computer for assistance. Do you want to connect anyway? What the heck? Get a big bad machine and can do something as simple as this. Any suggestions?

In the Windows world you would get that message if you had 'Warn Me' set in the Server Authentication section of the Advanced tab and were connecting to an XP machine. You could set it to ""Connect and don't warn me"".

I had this issue too. Haven't yet dug unto any possible fix - although my suspicion is that it's typical Microsoft not supporting (fully) a competitor. I do know there are other clients available that are supposed to work. On my end I do mostly gotomeering so this has never been a priority on my end to figure out what's up.
