Ok, Here is one for all of you Avalara and UPS address experts - Sage 100 adv 2015. Loaded up the Canadian customers, assigned them a Canadian country code of CAN (per Sage's table) and imported zip codes WITHOUT the space as that is also how the Sage Canadian zip code is formatted. When I validate the address via the AVALARA orange icon, it does NOT validate if the zip code is a six characters (NO space). If you do insert a space in the zip code, THEN VALIDATE, AVALARA will validate the address PLUS change the country code to CA.
Can anyone answer why that is???? And does anyone know what UPS Worldship is expecting to see if the SO Header address fields are mapped to Worldship? Seems very strange that Sage and Avalara are not in agreement.
