OK another issue with Sage CRM. I had an install working fine for EES running the 6.5 but when I upgraded SageCRM to the 7.0 version for EES I now see: Metadataloaderror: Error loading table Visitor: UnableToConnectToDB Error loading table VisitorProfile: UnableToConnectToDB on the left side. I think it is related to the SelfHelp but I never installed that. Anyone know how to get this resolved?

This is a common problem - usually based on license key problems. This is typically related to having / not having self-service installed correclty. Re-run the installer and remove self-service and see if it resolves the problem. Out of curiosity, is this a production environment?

Yes it is production environment. But they are just now starting to use it.

Ok ... I won't nag you about doing upgrades on a production enviornment without a trial upgrade first then. :)

Can you let me know if that resolved the problem or not?

What is the best way to remove it? go through the install and choose reinstall and uncheck the selfservice database? Does that remove the files or just choose not to reinstall it?

As I said in my initial response: Re-run the installer and remove self-service and see if it resolves the problem.

I know that is what you said and I have a few options when I do rerun the installer. I can Do a new install which installs a new instance (not what I would think I want), Upgrade previous (which I would expect if it sees it installed would just upgrade it), Change exissting (My best bet on what to do) Or complete reinstall. When I choose reinstall I have a list to what I want to reinstall. I didn't get a feeling that it would remove things like the IIS Aliases if I don't check it. Instead it would keep what ever was already there and just install what you have selected. So I didn't feel that checking components other than selfservice database and installing would do what we want.

OK I think it worked. Peter again your are the MAN! You wouldn't believe what all I found on the web about it from registry entry changes to permissions and moving files around.

I believe it. There is a lot of bad advice out there about Sage CRM support. Some of it even comes from Sage. ;)
