    Very likely the same problem is happening with LogMeIn, et al.

    TeamViewer still seems to blame external factors though there is some ongoing question of how accounts with 2 factor appeared to have been compromised.

    The biggest general security issue is that almost everybody uses the same passwords on tons of sites and services

    @WayneSchulz it would depend on how 2fa was setup. If a hacker got access to a system with TeamViewer and the verification was sent via email, then it seems they'd have access to that too. In the article though TeamViewer stated it was waiting for log files from those that claimed 2fa was compromised but they haven't received any lo files yet.
