Oh brother- Diane Coffman ""The source of this [bank code is in use] is still under investigation"". Goodness gracious mercy sakes alive - how on earth can she say that with a straight face. How many years has this been a product defect within Sage 100/MAS90?

They use similar language in their excuses about not having a clear plan for Sage 100 mfg: ""new team"". I told Deborah point blank at MOTM that this claim is a crock: they have had several product managers in the past 10 yrs discuss and analyze this, why can't they just review those analyses and go from there? She had no response to that. So, the problem is much, much deeper.

This year end ACA/Payroll processing is going to be a lot of fun.

I can see this being a nightmare for users who don't pay attention until December 30 then want to have us login and do the reporting.

Yeah, I think my next newsletter is going to have to start harping. :-)

Still ""discussing"" ability for CRM users to accept credit cards using Quick Sales Order Entry. Yeah, keep talking about it for 3 more years. By then, we'll all be able to beam ourselves to customers office to manually swipe the card.

I really don't think Deborah & Co. understands how much statements like that reinforce a negative attitude by partners and customers on a call like this. NONE of this audience is a virgin Sage-listener.

Yes. But in the VIP program, I think these are likely more engaged users, with their own frustrations about Sage's slow-moving. Maybe I'm just too cynical about this now ...

Also under investigation for the last 20 years is drop ship history visibility... Distribution is supposed to be a strength.. when most distribution companies are increasing drop ships, and begging for this feature, the Sage investigators are napping.

I had to do this to a client's system this morning and one yesterday and have been doing this same fix for I cannot tell you how many years now...one would think with bugs this old that they would work on them but they continue to make the screens prettier! I'd rather have the bugs taken care of instead of the new coat of paint!

I wonder how hard it would be for 90 Minds to come with a half-dozen+ use cases that are not now well served in Sage 100. So, 1. Selling through Amazon 2. Selling through eBay 3. Selling vendor items on commission from vendor 4. Selling recurring service

The cash receipt invoice already paid falls into this post too!

I wonder how many programmers have come and gone in the last 20 years. The track record for RAM's isn't so hot.

I don't get the impression that they hire any more, just fire...... Or ""retire"" ....
