  • 1.  Obscure Role Report Terms

    Does anyone know exactly what task(s) are covered by the following line-items pulled from the Role Report?  It's not clear what permissions are being granted, and searches have come up dry.  This is for an audit of one of my clients by an outside firm for separation of duties.  The client is on Version 2022 Advanced with Operations Management, no other third party modules.  Thanks in advance for any insight!

    General Ledger Check Printing Bank Code Clearing
    Inventory Management month end physical inventory box
    Library Master Administrative Tools
    Library Master Allow User to Access Credit Card Processing Application Form Is this obsolete?
    Library Master Data Dictionary Compile Is this a File>Run utility?  Is it a Reinitialize Manual function?
    Library Master Operations Management Data Migration
    Mobility for Bar Code Allow Supervisor Rights
    Operations Management Allow Operations Management Admin Rights
    Operations Management Allow Supervisor Rights
    Operations Management Operations Management Program Audit Data validation report?  Anything else?
    Sales Order Sales Order Picked Item Selection

    Thanks, @Lisa Dion!  I was able to get definitions for the others:

    No longer in list as of 2024:  General Ledger Check Printing Bank Code Clearing, Library Master Data Dictionary Compile
    No longer in list as of 2023:  Inventory Management month end physical inventory box, Sales Order Sales Order Picked Item Selection

    Administrative Tools - This allows you to LOG into Sage 100 as the "administrator" so you can turn on or off the "restricted mode". 

    Allow User to Access Credit Card Processing Application Form - allows users to open and "edit"or "add" a credit card in Customer Maintenance or Sales Order Maintenance.  Obsolete in v2025 if not using Integrated Credit Card. 

    Operations Management Data Migration - launches a wizard to convert data from Production Management to Operations Management.

    Mobility for Bar Code Allow Supervisor Rights - does not appear to add any additional permissions.

    Operations Management Allow Supervisor Rights - allows access to Work Ticket Inquiry Summary tab (I have my doubts about this explanation).
