Not sure if this the right place to share this information, but have any of you spent any time quoting any of your current customers that are on plan (perpetual) a migration to Sage 100c? I have found that several customers will not only pay a maximum increase of 15% over their current business care plan for the Sage 100c subscription, but they will also experience annual increases of a maximum of 10% until their subscription is in line with the then-current Sage 100c pricing. For example, I have one customer that paid ~$7,050, and the actual pricing to move to Sage 100c is ~$8,900. Since that would be a 26% increase, Sage has capped it at ~$8,110 (15%). I asked what happens next year, and I was told they will see a maximum 10% increase next year. And, this would be true each year until the price is back in line with whatever the Sage 100c subscription is. On the one hand, I get it. Prices increase over time for just about everything. On the other hand, most of us feel that customers are already paying way too much for Sage 100 maintenance, and the new Sage 100c will cost existing perpetual customers significantly more in the future. It sucks because I am sure that Sage is going to make Sage 100c a much better product than Sage 100.
