OAuth Settings v2021

    We are trying to set the OAuth on our internal Sage & getting errors. 
    Nothing shows up in the Sage Activity Log, but errors when testing.
    Our internal IT is wondering about a couple fields values because we are seeing some conflicting info in the resources.
    What are you using for "Redirect URI" & "Scope"? Has anyone seen this error yet?

    I was able to get it working following the KB 116301 instructions. 

    Make sure you are closing and reopening Company Maintenance to test. I do it with any edit to email settings before testing. Definitely, close and reopen before testing after any error. 

    Redirect URI is what was used when registering the app in AAD, local host or I used loopback address https:\\127.0.0.1
    Scope is https://outlook.office.com/SMTP.Send offline_access

    I saw that & wondered if that would apply to this or wondered what exactly that helped with. So it just doesn't work for Advanced or Premium until this hotfix? Does nobody have it working yet for those or only have it working for Standard?

    FYI,
    I installed the new hotfix from Sage (...v2021.4 Premium) on Friday, and the customer's IT got the OAuth email working this morning (using the Sage instructions).

    We also installed the hotfix & it is working!
    Our IT said there are additional settings in the email accounts to allow them to send using the authentication from the email in the Company Maintenance settings. Natively I could get it to send using that one email but not others on the same domain until he made an adjustment.

    I believe the new URL for this help document is https://us-kb.sage.com/portal/app/portlets/results/viewsolution.jsp?solutionid=221924460116301&hypermediatext=null as Sage renamed their KB articles slightly and this new number is Solution ID:  221924460116301

    Does anyone have a screenshot of this setup for a customer ( blur out any specific IP or company specific info)?

    Thanks - I added this to a document that we are creating which should answer questions about Gmail, Microsoft and what else could be used as a last resort in the event a customer isn't OAUTH capable.

    I have had a couple of MSPs choose to use SMTTP2GO rather than Oauth. I think that is just a lazy choice, but they probably go to that since there are still plenty of legacy devices without the ability to use Oauth (copiers and such) they have to support.

    This client IT said Client Secret is not required.
