Novice SIA Questions: Client runs SIA on Premium/SQL v2015. Does SIA run on demand where user clicks a button (or similar) OR on a schedule (e.g. Windows Task Scheduler)? Also does it use a SQL ODBC connection? I'm actually troubleshooting extreme slowdown on their system everyday at 11:15am requiring a server reboot and just trying to eliminate SIA as a cause. They have a ton of 3rd party external apps that pull data from Sage. @MoiraGoggin

It moves data on a schedule and I'm pretty sure it just uses Windows. Not sure about the ODBC. If SIA set it up, it happens in the middle of the night.

You can run this one demand too, under system admin settings. The routines that pull data should run pretty quick, how many items, orders and history is there @AlnoorCassim ?

From the Windows Task Scheduler, their Data Extract runs at 12:00am daily but their GetFiles.exe runs every single minute indefinitely. NetStock says this is quick and non-invasive especially on SQL (is it?). Moira they have 2,000 SO headers, 18,000 SO detail rows, 18,000 items. Which history file does it check? Regardless I'm certain this is not the cause of their 11:15am extreme slowdown.

Yes, GetFiles.exe is pretty fast. Files used SIA, Common Information Item File Item Warehouse Item Vendor Item Transaction History AP Vendor PO Header & PO Detail SO Header & SO Detail PO Receipt History Header & PO Receipt History Detail (Likely PO History now too) Bill of Materials Header & Bill of Material Detail Are you allowing SQL to manage memory? It may not be providing enough memory for Sage files and you may need to allocate memory for the Sage DB files. Someone posted on this topic not too long, I'll find the thread.
