Noting this here so I can find it when it comes up again next year, and in case anyone else runs into the issue:
Sage 300 version 5.6 1099 electronic file format - while the Georgia Dept of Revenue CLAIMS they accept the federal file format, the customer's file that was accepted by the IRS and at least ten other states was rejected by Georgia. GA DOR tech support claimed the file was missing two blank spaces on the end of each line. I created a program to read in the file, add the spaces, and write the revised file, which was accepted by GA DOR.
