We expect updated utilities next week that will correct issues with the existing 1099 utility and AP open invoices.  The utilities are in testing and review.

A product update will be released next year (first quarter) to address the selection of the 1099-NEC form the Purchase Order Entry.  It will cover release versions 2019, 2020, and 2021.  It will not cover the 2018 release.

Sage has updated the 1099 NEC utility so that it now correctly changes the items in the AP_OpenInvoice file.

UPDATES TO THE EXISTING AP1099 NEC UTILITY:
1. Utility now updates AP_VendorPayment records that are greater > = 2020 (original utility was only updating 2020 records)
2. Added AP_OpenInvoice to the utility
3. Added a prompt if the utility has already been run. (reading thru Activity Log)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. This utility can only be run if you are at version 6.0.9, 6.10.3, 6.20 or greater. The utility needs the 1099 NEC code that was added in these versions.
2. Make sure you are in the company that you want to correct.
3. From the File menu select Run:
4. Type in SYZCON
5. At the Command Prompt type in the following command
6. RUN "../Utility/AP_Update1099s_Utl"
7. This utility will move 2020 or greater MISC box information that was setup like 2019 MISC box information to the correct 2020 and greater MISC and NEC boxes.
8. The utility will read SY_ActivityLog to determine if this utility has already been run for this company. If there is record in the activity log indicating that the utility was run.

Resolution

This utility can only be run if you are at version 6.0.9, 6.10.3, 6.20 or greater. The utility needs the 1099 NEC code that was added in these versions.
Make sure you are in the company that you want to correct.
