And there are no plans to roll it out early for VIP testing. Apparently, they are doing a great job in alpha testing to even bother with the VIP release.

OK, so this suddenly hit me. If we can get framework payroll thrown together so fast they're going to have it out in 2016 and that will include timecard bundled in - WHY IN THE F-BOMB couldn't this have been done years ago?????? You know they have fewer programmers than they used to have in Sage 100, so why is it so flipping easy to pop these frameworks out now? Or are there a hundred Pakistani worker bees working on this right now?

Yeah, before I switched to support I was a nerd programmer on a home grown system and had to add 401K capability when 401Ks were created. I used to lay awake at night waiting for the IRS to pound on my door to tell me I screwed up the tax calculation for all of these clients' payrolls.

Let's not put the cart before the horse. Sage has only said they will upgrade payroll to framework. They haven't actually done it.

After the 10/23 announcement, they may not need to write it for framework.

Is payroll supposed to be in framework with this release? My head is spinning with all of this bs.

I wish it was, but I bet it will be the same old payroll. Framework would help to sell the new maintenance cost.
