  • 1.  NOT a Sage Issue, More MSFT

    WIN 10.  What is the secret to creating a 64 bit SYSTEM DSN.  I create one in the system tab but it never appears as an option.  I can create a USER DSN.  I want system.  Anyone know the secret sauce?

    You have to be local admin to create a System DSN.

    I am a local admin on my laptop.  I right clicked on the 64 ODBC.exe as well.  No remedy.

    I found a MSFT thread on Google but the link had been taken down.

    I have not tried being the ADMINISTRATOR yet.
