I don't know if any of you have come across this situation before. Sage 2020 Premium PU1 with client installed on a terminal server. A few users launch the client successfully, then all of a sudden the next user sees the message "no valid servers found". I check the sota.ini file and it's almost empty, just a couple of lines at the top. There's a KB article stating that there's a know issue with the Sage Client and WebRoot anti-virus. We've completely disabled webroot on the terminal server, but the issue still occurs.
Apparently when a user launches the client, a sota.tmp file is created, containing everything from the ini file. When the user successfully logs in, the tmp file is cleared and the sota.ini file is recreated. This should happen in milliseconds, but something's getting in the way and the ini file isn't being saved properly.
