I have added a few UDFs to various files... Thought that running mascrcw.exe would verify database in all selected reports... I guess not!!! Any other way to do them all at once..or do I need to go ONE by ONE????

@Lourdes Sobrino - if you're not USING them in the report, it doesn't really matter if they're there or not, does it?  If you ARE going to use them in the report, then going through Designer will automatically add them so you can use them, and you'd have to go through there anyway to add them.

That is what I always thought!!! But customers are trying to print Cash Receipts Journals & PO Receipts and I had to go to the forms in Crystal manually, verify the database and safe in order for users to be able to see them....

You should only have a problem if you remove a field that is referenced in a report.  New fields shouldn't break a working report.

Even expanding a text field size should be OK... the extra characters will just be ignored during printing until you verify database for CR to "see" the new field size.

Well, registers are a little different - you can't access them via Designer from the printing screen like you can Reports or Forms.  You can to just access from Crystal and you WOULD have to manually verify the database.

It is with the registers...I added UDFs in AR_customer and CI_Item and today when user goes to print cash receipt register..it wouldn't print.  I went into the report thru crystal...verified database manually and VOILA... I just dont want to go to every single register to do this!!!!

I don't see how that is technically possible.  The registers should only look at their work tables, not the raw source data.  Very odd.

Another thought.  If you're not printing them on the registers, they don't really need to be in the register work files.  They will flow through to history from, say, Sales Order to Sales Order Invoice to AR Transaction Posting to AR Invoice History without ever having to touch the register work files IF you don't need them printing out.
