Encountered the same issue upgrading from v2019 to v2024 in Customer Maintenance. CertCapture tab was not present in old version. In new version CertCapture tab replaced what should be the InstaDocs tab. Cllient does not CertCapture enabled in Avatax Configuration Options.
Any thoughts on how to get Instadocs Tab back where it needs to be?

Check the latest DSD AVATAX connector manual here.
I believe DSD / Avalara added Certcapture integration in v2021 of their connector. I'm not certain why it wouldn't be showing in your customer's Sage 100 2021 other than my personal experience is that the connector tends to be updated frequently so perhaps the customer was a few revisions behind the Certcapture functionality being added.
I believe the CertCapture tab was added to Customer Maintenance in Sage 100 to allow users to both upload and download exemption certificates. Prior to this, users had to manually upload exemption certificates to Avalara. With the enhancement, users can now synchronize certificates added on the Avalara website directly from the Sage 100 customer maintenance panel.
