Just a heads up. Today a client received a call from a phone number out of New York. 646-760-7694 The client forwarded the call onto me. The scam caller lost connection and called back using the same number. They indicated they were with Sage. They transferred me twice among people. They talked about how I was using Sage 100 Premium 2015. They either got that information from the client that forwarded or some other method. They spoke about ERP and getting the client current. This client is current on maintenance They indicated I may not need as many user licenses and quoted a price of $6900 for 6 users. I thought they were going to ask for a credit card but the next step was to request that I go to 123rescue. At this point I let the caller know I was aware of the scam and glad my clients trusted us to pass this on. Thought others might be experiencing the same. I will be sending a warning to our clients.
